Q: Do I need an Associate Degree to be eligible for the General Motors Marketing Academy Powered by MACRO?
A: Yes, a minimum of an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college is needed to be accepted into the program.
Q: Do I need to be 21 years old to be eligible for the program?
A: Yes, all participants must be legally eligible to work in the United States and at least 21 years of age, and not a minor in your state of residence at the time of submission.
Q: I will only be available for 4 months after the start of the program. Am I still eligible?
A: No, you will not be eligible for the program. We kindly ask all participants to be available for the entire five months of the program.
Q: Will I be required to attend the in-person events?
A: Yes, all participants must attend the in-person meet-ups. This is a terrific opportunity to grow your network and bond with members of your cohort.
Q: How many hours per week will I be expected to study or work on projects?
A: We ask all participants to expect to set aside four to six hours per week dedicated to project and coursework.
Q: Do I need to be a US Citizen to participate?
A: You must be legally eligible to work in the United States and at least 21 years of age and not a minor in your state of residence at the time of submission.
Q: How long will the program last?
A: The program runs from May 2023 through September 2023. All accepted into the program will receive exact dates and times upon acceptance into the program.
Q: Will I have to pay for my own travel to the in-person events?
A: Participants will not have to pay for their own travel to the in person events. Air travel, hotel accommodations and meals will be covered during the convenings.
